For about as long as he can remember, the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network has been a part of Peter Hoopis’ life. His father, Harry Hoopis, CLU, ChFC, has been with the company for more than 30 years, and the positive effect that this connection has had on his family, their friends and the community inspired Peter to follow in his footsteps.  One of Peter's main goals is to exert the same type of influence.

Peter H Hoopis started his career with Northwestern Mutual in 1996 at the age of 19 as a college intern.  During his time as an intern, Peter led all college financial representatives in production for the Central Region and placed fifth in the entire company among college financial representatives. Upon graduating from the University of Denver with a degree in Finance and Marketing, Peter was offered a full time position in September of 1999. Peter ranked in the top 50 for all first year representatives in the Northwestern Mutual.  He has qualified for the Million Dollar Round Table and has achieved the National Quality Award and the National Sales achievement award numerous times.  In May of 2004 he led the entire Northwestern Mutual in new client production.  Within his organization, Peter placed in the top 5 of 165 representatives in group health insurance production in 2003, 2004 and 2007.  Peter is a recent graduate of NAIFA’s Leadership in Life Institute.  He currently holds his series 6,7,9,10,26,63 registrations and earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from the American College.

Peter has taken his passion for the financial services business and moved into a leadership role with Northwestern Mutual.  Peter is one of the first in Northwestern Mutual to earn his Chartered Leadership Fellow designation from the American College.  Peter now leads a group of 30 young financial representatives that have the ability produce over $3,000,000 of life insurance premium. 

Peter is a sought after speaker who has given talks to various industry organizations throughout the United States and Canada.

Peter Hoopis is a member of the Chicago Region of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He also is a member of GAMA International.
